Meet our SENDCo- Mrs Kaur 

Hello and welcome!

My name is Mrs Kaur  and I am proud to be the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo) at Rivers Primary Academy. I am passionate about ensuring that every child feels understood, supported and valued, and that they are able to flourish both academically and personally.

As SENDCo, I work closely with pupils, families, school staff and external professionals to ensure that children with SEND receive the right support at the right time. I believe that strong relationships, open communication and early identification are key to helping children overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive outcomes.

My role is to identify pupils’ needs and coordinate appropriate support for those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), so that every child is enabled to thrive academically and personally.

In addition to my teaching qualification, I hold a Masters in Education, NPQSL as well as a Postgraduate qualification in SEN Co-ordination  (NASENCo).
